THE BLUES TO RETURN TO COFFS HARBOUR
In a coup for Coffs Harbour, the New South Wales rugby league team will return to the region to train ahead of this year’s State of Origin games.
The Blues will stay in Coffs Harbour in the lead up to all three matches, including game two in Melbourne, as they aim for back-to-back series titles.
The change in training location last year is credited with helping the Blues break an eight-year series losing streak.
The state government has also announced it will offset some of the cost of the team’s travel, accomodation and training expenses, but wouldn’t say how much.
The matches will be played on May 27, June 17 and July 8.
