Port Macquarie’s Plaza Carpark saga will be front and centre on Wednesday night, during an extraordinary meeting held by council.
Councillors will vote on whether to submit an expression of interest to buy the car park off the state government for $1.
Council says the area should be kept in public hands, but wants to use any available funds to redevelop the site for both commercial and public use.
Submissions are due by Friday.
