2014 Formula 3 champion, and Werris Creek local, Garnet Patterson is moving to Hong Kong to further his racing dream.
The 20 year old will drive for KC Motorgroup in the Asian Formula Renault Series.
His new team have never won a team championship, and they believe the former Quirindi High School student could be the man to deliver the silverware.
Patterson flies to China on Monday to undergo testing, before the season starts next Friday.
