WARATAHS EARN REVENGE FOR GRAND FINAL DEFEAT
While in Tamworth women’s hockey, Olympians and Waratahs didn’t have to wait long for a grand final rematch, coming together in round four.
Last year’s runners up struck first in the fifth minute.
It didn’t take long for Olympians to hit back though.
The defending premiers showed their title credentials by taking the lead in the 15th minute.
The match continued to move from end-to-end, with another Waratahs goal levelling the scores at half time.
Last year’s runners up used the momentum to win the match 5-4, while Flames recorded an easy win.
