A search has resumed to find an elderly man, who went missing from Inverell Hospital last night.
72-year-old Milenko Maksimovic, also known as Mick, was last seen outside the hospital at about 6pm.
There are serious concerns for his welfare due to a medical condition.
Police, hospital staff and family members searched for Mr Maksimovic until 11:30 last night, but without success.
Residents have been asked to check their backyards and sheds.
It’s believed Mr Maksimovic may be heading towards the town of Ashford.
He’s described as Caucasian, around 172-centimetres tall, with a thin build, dark hair and a dark moustache.
He was last seen wearing a red chequered shirt, grey tracksuit pants and brown slippers.
