The New England electorate is set to benefit from 28 new and upgraded mobile phone towers, which will provide service to more than 100 black spots.
15 will be located in the Tamworth region, including Attunga, Barraba, Dungowan and Walcha.
The extra towers will improve coverage along major transport routes, and in communities prone to natural disasters.
It’ll be funded under the federal government’s multi-million dollar Mobile Blackspots program, which was announced last year.
