A new site has been announced for an integrated resort and casino on the Gold Coast.
State Development Minister, Anthony Lynham, announced that a five hectare block near Sea World is the chosen location.
Chinese developer ASF Consortium had originally planned to build a cruise ship terminal on Wavebreak Island as part of the development, but the Queensland government knocked back those plans earlier this year.
