Local woman Sussan Maybury has been named Staff Member for the Year by Hunter New England Health for her work in violence prevention and care at Tamworth Hospital.
The 2015 Excellence Awards acknowledge staff and volunteers for their clinical distinction and innovation.
Tamworth Hospital’s North West Cancer Centre also took out the ‘Patients as Partners’ award, in recognition of the new films it’s created for cancer patients.
