GOOD LOOKING WEEKEND AHEAD

A fairly normal weekend is on the way after an extraordinary month of heat and storms. The southerly swept in today and conditions have eased quickly this afternoon. Some morning fog patches are likely tomorrow after the rain. There’ll be a couple of small drizzle patches along the north coast. Good for boating and some small to moderate sized bumpy waves for surfers. Overall we are in for a fine weekend.

  1. Gav is it possible to have another way to show wind strengths?
I think you used to have narrow arrows for light and wider for stronger but since you’ve gone to the new method it’s very hard to pick.
I speed windsurf so I want to know the windstrengths and when the fronts will hit Budgewoi Lake + Lake Macquarie etc. I used to be able to quickly assess if it was going to be a decent day but it’s very hard now.
