WEATHER: SWEET NOVEMBER RAIN
The current rain event has delivered the goods to the North West. Some large figures were accumulated overnight, adding to what has been a slow build up.
A line that stretches from Walgett to Wee Waa, up to Moree and across to Inverell, received 50 to 80mm. Middle Creek outside of Inverell topped the list with and impressive 112mm.
This is a game changer for the season across the region and there may be more inland rain on the way in the weeks to follow.
Along the coast, the rain band cleared today but getting left behind will be a stalled trough. This area of instability will help trigger storms along the northern New South Wales ranges into south west Queensland tomorrow.
A weak southerly will freshen things up for the Central Coast and Newcastle on Saturday.
