Vandals have emptied the Newcastle Ocean Baths overnight, ahead of a scorching 36-degree day.
The vandals opened the floodgate on the baths, emptying the pool within hours of it being cleaned yesterday.
Newcastle Council staff are busily re-filling the pool, as swimmers gather to cool off.
It should be back to full capacity by midday.
