WEATHER: RAIN SLOWLY MOVING NORTH

It has been a very wet 24 hours for the Greater Hunter, with up to 100mm falling between Gosford and Port Macquarie.
On the northern edge, the thick blanket of cloud storms fired up across the North West. That area of instability will continue to move north into south east QLD tomorrow.
Over Christmas, conditions will clear for the Central Coast, Hunter, southern parts of the North West and Mid North Coast. Showers will linger across north east NSW and south east QLD as the trough line stalls.
Another rain-bearing system will move in on Boxing Day.
