Newcastle yacht She’s the Culprit has crossed the Sydney to Hobart finish line in 61st place for line honours.
In light conditions, the boat raced several other small entrants up the Derwent River last night.
The 39-foot yacht was crewed by 12 people, all from the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie area, with skipper Glen Picasso completing his 10th Sydney to Hobart.
The boat had a good start, but faced tough conditions throughout the race with thunderstorm activity and a southerly front.
The crew will now spend a few days in Hobart celebrating with family and friends.
