Taree Council has turned to the community to help shape its open spaces plan.
At a forum in Taree today, a range of improvements were suggested, including a revamp of existing playground equipment and an increase in dog friendly areas.
Residents will be given another opportunity to join the conversation during an event on Saturday at Edinburgh Park.
