But a swimmer by the same name is hoping to makes waves again, at next month’s trials for the Rio Olympics.

His Grandfather was legendary Australian rugby player Ron Roberts… So could be mistaken. Ron played for St George in 1949-1950. He is famous for ‘the greatest moment in rugby league’ when he scored the winning try against England to win the ashes after a long drought. He was the number 9’in that muddy match with Clive Churchill…
Also his Uncle .. Graham Roberts played for Balmian Tigers… So there is sporting pedigree in rugby sporting pedigree in the swimmer!!
