WOMAN TREATED AFTER POWER LINES FALL

A woman in her 40s has been taken to Gosford Hospital, after a truck brought down power lines around her on the Central Coast.
The woman was working as a surveyor on the side of Wards Hill Road at Empire Bay, when the truck is understood to have pulled the lines down when passing underneath.
It’s not clear if the woman received an electric shock, but she is now in a stable condition.
