Avoca kayaker Lachlan Tame has bounced back from last week’s disappointing seventh place, to finish on the podium in the Czech Republic.
Tame and partner Ken Wallace made a strong start in the K2 1000 final at the World Cup, before sliding to mid-field.
Out of the top three for most of the race, the Aussies powered home in the final 250 meters to finish second behind Germany, and getting their Olympic preparation bac.
