A woman has died, and eight people have been taken to hospital following a horror crash on the New South Wales Far North Coast.
A Toyota Landcruiser was travelling west on the Bruxner Highway at Tabulam just after midday, when police say a Holden Commodore – with five passengers onboard – crossed into the vehicle’s path.
“One of the female passengers from the back seat is deceased, and there are other passengers from the vehicle that are injured and been taken to Lismore Base Hospital.”
The 72-year-old driver of the Landcruiser, and two passengers suffered minor injuries.
