TOUGH COMPETITION FOR NSW’S MINERS
Mineworkers from around the state were put through their paces, during their annual First Aid Competition at Argenton.
Competitors were judged on their response times and administration over a number of simulated emergencies.
“Our industry recognises the value of having competent and skilled first aiders in the workplace, but they also recognise they are then able to provide a valuable skill to the broader community,” CS Health General Manager Mark O’Neill said.
The West Wallsend Barbarians were crowned competition winners.
