FFNC MINOR PREMIERSHIP GOES TO GOONELLABAH

In soccer, Goonellabah has claimed the premier league’s minor premiership with a win over Lismore Thistles.

It’s the first time they’ve ended the season on top of the table since 2010.

Elsewhere, Lismore Workers and Bangalow enjoyed victories, the Richmond Rovers beat close rivals Byron Bay and Casino drew with Lennox Head.
