WEATHER: BIG SPRING RAIN ON THE WAY

The winter rain delivered one of the best seasons in a long time, raising the hopes of farmers across the land.

Spring is almost here and it will get off to an incredibly wet start.

A significant inland rain event will unfold over the next three days, producing large amounts of rain across the north west, to the point that we may see flooding.

Many local dams are full, so over flows are likely. Rivers system will swell and runoff will top up the major catchments further.

The system will clear by Saturday night making for a fine Father’s Day.
