TWO MORE CHARGED AS STRIKE FORCE INVESTIGATIONS CONTINUE

Strike Force Shirley continues to yield results, with another two men charged over an armed robbery in the Hunter region earlier this year.

Ongoing investigations led police to a home on Cook Street in Raymond Terrace on Saturday afternoon, where they located a 21-year-old man hiding under a bed.

He was charged with robbery whilst armed with a dangerous weapon, and possessing a prohibited drug.

Police say the charge relates to the armed robbery of a fast food restaurant at Williamtown in January 2017.

A 32-year-old man was then arrested at a motel on the Pacific Highway, Heatherbrae, about 10.30pm.

He was also charged with robbery whilst armed with a dangerous weapon.

Two other men – aged 18 and 30 – have previously been charged by strike force detectives.
