Tamworth Kart Racing Club is hosting one of its major annual events this weekend, with the Brian Higginbotham Trophy.
Different to most meets, points are collected across four heats, meaning the winner of the final doesn’t necessarily claim overall victory.
About 100 are expected to race across all divisions at Oakburn Park.
“It’s fairly fast, as go kart tracks go. A lot of big straights. So it’s quite different to most of the city tracks.”
Racing gets underway around noon tomorrow.
