Lake Macquarie Residents are pleading with the state government to address all safety and traffic congestion issues along busy Hillsborough Road.
Today they handed over a petition with 1800 signatures to Shadow Roads Minister and Charlestown MP, Jodie Harrison.
“Residents are waiting 15 to 20 minutes for safe gaps in traffics to actually turn out and you’ve got 600 plus residents who’ve been waiting for 20, 30, 60 years years for something to happen,” said Hillsborough resident Michael Nolan.
