MAN CHARGED FOLLOWING ROAD-RAGE INCIDENT

A Lake Macquarie man has handed himself in to police, following a road-rage incident on the Central Coast.

Two drivers stopped at the intersection of the Pacific Highway and Elizabeth Bay Drive at Lake Munmorah, just after midday on Monday.

Police say a 41-year-old man and 21-year-old woman got into an argument, before the man punched her.

The Windermere Park man turned up to Wyong Police Station yesterday morning, where he was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

He’s been granted conditional bail, to face Wyong Local Court on August 30.

  1. I’m curious as to whether the woman & her driver will be charged as well…. Especially as they instigated the event … If the Man had of been hit by another car as he jumped away into the other lane , from the reversing truck, whose fault would that be … If other posts are read, you’ll see this couple have done this before …. & got away with it …… They are lucky that this is not America ,, because she may have been Shot or Stabbed instead of a Slap on the face….

  2. another thing wrong here is the car being used as weapon when put in reverse…They could also be charged with attempted murders

  3. Nobody should hit a woman you idiot, its sounds like she deserved to be hit from your point of view.
    I hope he gets 3 months jail at least, and I hope you grow up.

  4. Tom Hanson, nobody should hit a woman, nobody should throw things out of a car window & nobody should reverse their car to try & hit someone. they should all be charged.
