CHARGES LAID AFTER TRUCK CRASHES INTO HOUSE
A man will face court after crashing a stolen truck into a house on the Central Coast.
Police say a man stole the delivery truck from a service station on the Pacific Highway in Wyong around 11pm last night, before losing control of the vehicle at a roundabout and crashing into the rear of a house in Gleneagles Place, Watanobbi.
The residents of the home were uninjured, but the driver was airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital with serious head injuries.
He remains in a stable condition.
This afternoon, police charged a 25-year-old man with robbery, unlicensed driving, and negligent driving.
He’ll appear in Gosford Local Court on August 21.
