The warm weather has seen an increase in snake sightings across the Hunter, and even in Newcastle CBD.
This slithery visitor was spotted in the carpark of Marketown over the weekend, much to the surprise of shoppers.
Further north, and these red-bellied black snakes were filmed – in what’s believed to be a fight between two males.
It all unfolded on a property at Mount George, west of Taree.
