THREE TEENS CHARGED FOLLOWING STOLEN CAR CRASH
Three teenagers will face court today, following a crash involving a stolen car at West Gosford overnight.
Police were alerted just before midnight, after members of the public noticed a black Mitsubishi Challenger SUV driving without lights on in Gosford.
Officers soon spotted the car on Manns Road, but the driver allegedly failed to stop.
Police say they didn’t pursue it and later found it on the Central Coast Highway, crashed into a barrier.
Three people allegedly ran from the scene, while a 19-year-old woman was arrested in the car.
A search involving the dog unit led to the arrest of a 19-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy. The third male wasn’t found.
The three teenagers were taken to Gosford Police Station and charged with a string of offences.
