Age has proven to be no barrier for more than 100 golfers, who took to the course for the Veteran’s Golf Championships at Kew.
In contention for the trophy is Greg Armstrong, Dennis Hurt and Greg Daniels.
While Chris McCall and Rohnda Pitt claimed the top spots in the women’s, they’ll go home empty-handed.
“I know that’s sexist but it’s a men’s comp really. But not anymore there’s nearly half ladies and half men and so we’re getting pressure from the ladies to make it three grades the same as the men” – Laurie Hamilton , Tournament Director
