Central Coast radio hosts Sarah and Paddy have spoken exclusively to NBN News about their shock axing from their popular 2GO breakfast show.
The pair were told in a meeting earlier this week they would not be on air any longer and have yet to return to the Gosford radio station.

I don’t know what evidence 2GO based their decision to ruthlessly sack Sarah and Paddy on. From everything I’ve read and heard, 2GO listeners are all appalled at what’s happened. I, like many other faithful listeners, have made the decision to switch channels, as they were the heart and soul of 2GO and for once, management should listen to the community, not big city administrators!

I am sorry for Sarah but unfortunately friends and I haven’t tuned to 2GO breakfast since Paddy come on board with Sarah and I had been an exclusive 2GO listener for since 1987 it just went a bit trashy and just not funny or enjoyable and I think if people checked the paper you would see the ratings that is what it is about – always has been TV AND RADIO.
It`s sad to hear that Sarah and Paddy has been sacked , its been the wake up call every morning I looked forward to as to “taking another direction” ? well 2GO so have I those two whether its Sarah or Paddy Sarah or Bob Peters or Sarah or ? ?
Sarah`s legacy she leaves 2GO is the “5 cents” raising programme for the kids in hospital , riotous and funnies she has given to the listeners……..all I can say is they can never be replaced
My husband made the decision to switch radio stations earlier this year, but I liked the breakfast show; I am sorry to see them go and what an awful thing to happen to a woman with 25 years in tghe business with 2GO who has won many awards, and who will now front the give me 5 for kids, it will probably go down the drain as well. Not happy with the decision nor the apparant way it was relayed to Sarah and Paddy.
