INQUIRY INTO CONTAMINATION CRISIS
It’s been announced a parliamentary inquiry will take place into the PFAS contamination crisis.
Ordered by Labor, it will examine the government’s handling of the issue, which now affects an estimated 23 Defence sites across Australia.
The inquiry is welcome news for Paterson MP Meryl Swanson, who says “the Turnbull Government will finally be called to account over its absolutely pathetic response to the Williamtown contamination crisis.”
