ARMIDALE TOWN HALL FACELIFT
Work will begin next week to see the Armidale Town Hall get its first major coat of paint in 20 years.
It comes after vandals took to the site during the New England by-election last month, but council says it was always on the agenda.
“It was always going to be done this year, we just brought it forward. It definitely needs a bit of an update, there’s been a few cracks outside the windows that need to be tidied up,” Councillor Simon Murray, Mayor of Armidale Regional Council.
It’s expected to take around three weeks to complete.
