A 19-year-old has been arrested, after he was allegedly found in possession of stolen goods in the Lake Macquarie suburb of Belmont.
Police got called to Brushtail Close just after 3am this morning, where they found a Jeep Cherokee that had been reported stolen, containing allegedly stolen items.
The 19-year-old man was arrested nearby, whilst a second person ran from police.
He was taken to Belmont Police Station and charged with multiple offences including break, enter and steal, as well as goods in personal custody suspected of being stolen.
