Souths have finally broken their Old Boys hoodoo, with a comprehensive victory in the Tamworth Cricket grand final at No.1. Oval.
Souths bowlers ripped through Old Boys line-up in the first innings, with the reigning premiers dismissed for 123.
Tom O’Neill the best of Souths bowlers with figures of 6 for 36, as they smashed 259 in reply.
Tom Groth notching-up 136 from 200 balls, including 18 fours and two sixes.
Old Boys returned to the crease, managing 148, before conceding victory to Souths.
