POLICE WANT HELP AFTER ATTEMPTED ADAMSTOWN ABDUCTION
Police are appealing for the public’s help, following the attempted abduction of a teenage girl in Adamstown.
Around 6pm on Sunday May 27, a 17-year-old girl was walking to a home on Glebe Road, when a dark grey Holden Commodore sedan travelling west stopped near her.
It’s believed the man spoke to her briefly, before grabbing her arm and attempting to pull her towards the vehicle.
The teenage girl managed to get away and ran to a nearby home.
The vehicle was last seen travelling east along Glebe Road.
Police have now released an e-fit image of a man in the hope that someone might be able to identify him.
He’s described as being of Caucasian in appearance, about 183cm tall, with a thin build, and wearing a light blue hooded jumper.
