Two teenage boys have been charged, after an investigation into suspicious fires in Tamworth.
Since October 2017, emergency services have attended more than 50 car, grass and structural fires.
Strike Force Laden was established to investigate the suspicious fires.
On Thursday June 14, authorities were called to two fires at Locks Lane, Tamworth and Bicentennial Park.
Witnesses told police two people were spotted leaving the scene.
Two boys, aged 17 and 11, were identified and further investigations took place.
On Friday June 15, police arrested the two boys at an address in Oxley Vale.
The pair were granted strict conditional bail, to appear before a Children’s Court on Tuesday July 17.
