Fire crews are working to contain an out of control bushfire at Lake Macquarie.
Multiple crews are on the scene at Killingworth, with the fire now more than 45 hectares in size.
The blaze is burning in the vicinity of Wakefield Road to the east of the township.
No homes are currently at risk.
The RFS website currently lists it as being at ‘Advice’ level.
