There was a major win for the Reptile Park overnight – the park named the 2018 Business of the Year by the New South Wales Business Chamber.
The Somersby park was praised for raising $375,000 in a crowdfunding campaign to double the size of its ‘Devil’s Ark’ prorgam.
It was also recognised being the only zoo in Australia with a spider and snake venom-milking program in place.
The home for many cute critters was one of 172 finalists.
The Reptile Park also took out the top gong in the Excellence in Business category.
