MAN CRITICAL AFTER FALLING FROM MOVING CAR AT WALLABI POINT
A 20-year-old man remains in a critical condition in hospital, after he fell from the back of a moving car on the mid north coast.
Emergency services were called to Wallabi Point in the early hours of Sunday morning, where they found a man suffering serious head injuries.
It’s understood he’d been standing on the back of a moving Toyota Townace van, when he fell backwards onto the road.
He was taken to Manning Base Hospital, before being transferred to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital.
Following inquiries, a 19-year-old man, who it’s alleged was behind the wheel at the time was arrested at a home at Wallabi Point.
He was charged with a string of offences including dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm.
His license was also suspended.
