The Hunter could soon lay claim to another Olympian, with Merewether’s Ryan Callinan attending the first readiness camp for 2019, ahead of the 2020 Tokyo Games.
Callinan was joined by 11 fellow competitors, including Owen Wright and Sally Fitzgibbons, learning from surfing legends Mick Fanning and Mark Richards, as well as two Olympians.
