COASTIES READY THEIR ANZAC DAY TRIBUTES
Central Coast residents have put the finishing touches on their ANZAC Day tributes.
Thousands across the region will stand at their end of their driveways at the break of dawn on Saturday, lighting a candle in memory of our fallen diggers.
On social media, pledges to mark the day – however they could in the era of social distancing – came from Lake Munmorah to Blackwall.
The chance to honour defence personnel bringing us closer together, some crafting red poppies to stand on the lawn or wreaths to drape over the letterbox.
Residents are, again, being urged to commemorate our diggers at home, to continue to flatten the curve of coronavirus infections.
