DRIVER ALLEGEDLY CAUGHT WITH 430 GRAMS OF MDMA IN PORT STEPHENS
A man will face court today, after allegedly being caught with a commercial quantity of MDMA in Port Stephens.
At around 1.30 yesterday afternoon, officers stopped a driver on Nelson Bay Road at Salt Ash.
The 24-year-old underwent a roadside drug test and was allegedly positive.
Officers searched his car and seized 430 grams of MDMA and just under $2000 cash.
He was arrested and taken to Raymond Terrace police station, where he was charged with supplying a commercial quantity of a prohibited drug and dealing with the proceeds of crime.
He was refused bail.
