A teenage boy has been charged over an alleged armed robbery on the Central Coast last month.
Police allege shortly before 7pm on April 2, the boy entered a service station on Orana Road at Gwandalan and threatened an 18-year-old employee with a pistol, demanding cash.
He then fled the scene.
Following extensive inquiries, police searched a Gwandalan home around 6am yesterday, arresting a 16-year-old suspect.
He was taken to Wyong police station where he was charged with robbery armed with an offensive weapon and possession of a prohibited drug.
