GAV’S WEATHER | COASTAL SHOWERS ON THE WAY
Skies are generally clear across most of the nation today.
Fronts are clipping the far south-west and south-east corners of the country, maintaining the south to westerly airflow locally.
As the low slowly makes its way across the Tasman, more cold air will be driven up the coast and inland across the region.
This will keep temperatures down in the coming days.
Cloud and showers will now increase along the coast as the winds shift to the south.
Another cold night with widespread inland frosts, followed by another chilly day for all.
