A teenager has been arrested in connection to the death of a 10-year-old girl at Gunnedah in the state’s north west.
Emergency services were called to the property at about 7.15am following reports a child had been seriously injured.
The girl had suffered lacerations and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 14-year-old girl was arrested and taken to Gunnedah police station.
