A man has been flown to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle after a 500kg steel plate had fallen onto his legs.
The 58-year-old was injured on a work site at Harrington just after 11am.
Local Ambulance Paramedic and emergency services rushed to the scene and commenced treatment.
