Police are asking for public information, after several fireworks were set off outside Port Macquarie Police Station last weekend.
Just after 3.30am on Saturday, a group of men set up four fireworks on a grassed area across from the station on Hay Street.
The fireworks were detonated in the direction of the building.
Shortly after, police conducted a patrol of the nearby area.
As detectives continue their investigation, police are urging anyone who saw anything suspicious in the town centre between 3am and 4am on August 29 to come forward.
