The Morrison government has allocated almost a billion dollars to major bypass projects in the Hunter region.
There’s $360-million to complete the Newcastle Inner City Bypass; the project now fully funded.
The Singleton Bypass has received $560 million, which still needs another $45 million in state funding.
The federal money will come from $2.7 billion being invested in roads across the state.
