The New South Wales Premier has announced another major easing of coronavirus restrictions, after the state recorded its 25th day without community transmission.
The four-square-metre rule will become the two-square-metre rule on Monday, except in gyms and nightclubs.
But it means dancefloors are back, with as many as 50 people allowed on a dancefloor at a time.
Limits on the number of people allowed in a hospitality venue will be lifted and there are no limits on the number of people allowed to attend weddings and funerals.
Up to 100 people can attend an outdoor event such as a large family picnic.
Gladys Berejiklian is reminding people that social distancing, good hygiene and COVID-19 testing must continue.
