La Nina conditions are beginning to rebuild with increased activity over the northern tropics.
Cloud has increased in the west and a strong front is sweeping across the SE tonight.
The heat from Central Australia will get cleared from the stronger front that is going to pass across the region triggering this afternoon and evenings storms.
The air mass behind the front is dry so it looks like skies will largely be blue for most of the region kick starting the weekend.
Overall a fabulous looking weekend is on the way with southerly winds making for very comfortable conditions.
A storm or two will be possible for SE QLD on Saturday.
